Our Story
More Than Solar Pumps - We Build Futures
Smart Energy Enterprise (SEE) is a Malawian company established in 2017 with the mission of improving access to solar-powered irrigation systems for smallholder farmers. By promoting renewable energy solutions for agriculture, SEE helps farmers overcome the challenges of drought and prolonged dry spells while increasing agricultural productivity.
SEE delivers integrated services that go beyond selling solar pumps. The enterprise provides solar irrigation technologies, farmer training and extension services, and market linkages to ensure farmers can sustainably produce and sell their crops.
Through this approach, SEE builds long-term partnerships with farming communities and promotes the commercialization of small-scale agriculture in Malawi.

Our mission is to sustainably and profitably provide innovative, durable, and affordable solar irrigation systems to smallholder farmers, improving livelihoods and food security while addressing the challenges of climate change. We complement this with structured extension services, market access facilitation, and hands-on training through demonstration farms.
